Manufacturing of 3HXUN Horizontal End Suction Refuse Pump for the Sewage Industry

Meeting and exceeding sewage industry standards for capacity and handling, Smart Turner Pumps Inc built this end suction refuse pump with both quality and performance in mind. Utilizing a variety of appropriate metallurgies, we applied turning and milling processes to 316 and 416 stainless steel for the shaft and shaft sleeve, and cast iron in the manufacturing of the casing, suction cover, and impeller. We also installed a 2 HP severe duty motor in a TEFC enclosure, operating the pump at 1750 RPM and 7.4 M head to handle sewage water with solids up to 2 ½" as specified by the end user.

This pump is a prime example of our ability to meet customer expectations and requirements for all types of jobs.
