Manufacturing of 2LHSO-18 Centrifugal Sump Pump for the Petro Chemical & Hydro Industry

In partnership with a petrochemical customer, Smart Turner Pumps Inc designed and produced this 221" vertical sump pump using our state-of-the-art turning and horizontal bore milling machinery. With a 3" suction inlet and a 2" discharge outlet, this unit is well-equipped to handle the sea water flowing from a sump to an external receptacle. Installed via 150# ANSI RF flanged connections, it pumps 22 M3/hr, operating at 1450 RPM and 20.5 M head. The motor includes a TEFC enclosure on a 132S IEC frame.

Material selection proves important in maintaining integrity of operation and supporting the dimensions of the pump. Sourcing Alloy 255 UNS S32550 and Duplex ASTM 890 1C Grade CD3MCuN, we consistently prove our proficiency in working with a wide range of materials.
